Drama Play at Whitworth

Enjoy a wonderful dinner with tour leader Laura Schlangen at Olive Garden with 14 of your great friends prior to the show.  The drama “Elephant Man” re-tells the real-life story of John Merrick’s “rehabilitation” under the tutelage of the rising young surgeon Dr. Treves who transports his unlikely protégé from sideshow squalor to upper-class gentility during the Victorian Age. The script’s arc is shaped not so much by the actual transformation as by the reactions to it.  This should be a very interesting play.
